However, she draws a clear line between using AI as a supplement to one's own judgment and becoming so dependent on it that one stops trusting personal instincts altogether — a threshold she warns people are increasingly crossing.

Both experts agree that the core danger lies in substituting genuine human experience with algorithmic shortcuts. Authentic relationships are built through vulnerability, trial and error, and the sometimes uncomfortable process of learning to connect with others. When AI absorbs those experiences, people are deprived of essential emotional development.
