Legal Disclosure (Notation under Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions)

This page provides the disclosures required by Article 11 of Japan's Act on Specified Commercial Transactions ("Tokutei Shōtorihiki Hō") for businesses selling to consumers via mail order.

Prices follow what is shown on each product page and on the pricing page (https://kotomori.app/en/pricing).

Prices are shown in US Dollars. The local-currency amount charged depends on the conversion rate at checkout time.

Additional fees

Tax: prices are tax-exclusive. Japanese consumption tax (10%) is added at checkout for customers in Japan. For customers in other regions, applicable VAT/GST is calculated and added automatically by our payment processor.

Connection fees: communication costs incurred while using the service are the responsibility of the customer.

Timing of payment

One-time purchases: charged immediately when the order is placed.

Subscriptions: the first charge is at signup; subsequent charges occur automatically each billing cycle (monthly or yearly).

Delivery

All products are digital (licenses, packs, or subscriptions) and become available on the buyer's account immediately after the payment is completed.

Returns, cancellations and refunds

Due to the nature of digital products, returns and refunds are generally not accepted after purchase.

However we will issue a refund in the following cases:

• A request made within 14 days of purchase, where the product has not been substantively used

• Cases where a defect on our side prevents the product from delivering its core functionality

Subscription cancellation

You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account page (https://kotomori.app/en/account) or from the link included in the receipt email.

After cancellation you can continue to use the service until the end of the current billing period.

System requirements (for software products)

ShadowFlow (web): latest versions of Chrome / Edge / Safari / Firefox. WebGPU-capable browsers recommended for some features.

Nazori (web / iOS): the browsers above, plus iPhone / iPad on iOS 17 or later.

LiveCap (Mac desktop): macOS 13 (Ventura) or later, Apple Silicon or Intel.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These notations and your use of the service are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
