A second video posted by Turned reveals a similar out-of-bounds glitch in the game's Tokyo section, exposing some of the technical tricks developers use to create the illusion of a living city. For example, cars can be seen driving through streets that are visible to players, but once those vehicles reach the edge of the intended play area, they collide with invisible walls and disappear. These so-called 'video game magic' techniques are standard industry practice for making environments feel more dynamic and immersive from within the designed playable space.

The discovery has captivated a segment of the Wolverine player community, particularly those who wish the game offered more open-world content. It offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into the environmental design work that Insomniac's artists produced but which most players would never normally see. Despite the mixed reception the game has received overall, including controversy around its open-world limitations, the glitch highlights the considerable creative effort invested in crafting a believable, layered game world even in areas players were never meant to reach.
